After Gov. Soludo’s Revelation On Live TV, Adamu Garba Tells Peter Obi To Step Down And Apologize To Nigerians

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has asked the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi,  to withdraw from the 2023 presidential race following a revelation by Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State.

Soludo, in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday evening, said the investments made by Obi during his time as Anambra governor were “worth next to nothing”.

He had said: “I don’t know about the investment. I’m not talking about the investments of any of my predecessors. By the way, the one that you talked about I don’t know about that.

“I think there was something I read about somebody speculating about whatever investment. With what I’ve seen today, the value of those investments is worth next to nothing. So, let’s leave that aside.”

Reacting to the interview in a tweet via his Twitter page on Friday, Garba said the LP candidate lied about the investments he made on behalf of the state.

The APC chieftain, therefore, advised Obi to withdraw from the 2023 presidential poll and apologize to Nigerians for falsehood.

He wrote: “Peter Obi’s lies are further exposed by Governor of Obi’s “heavenly” Anambra state, Chukwuma Soludo.

“Soludo says Peter Obi’s beer factory investment is next to nothing and might not be in existence. Peter Obi should withdraw from this contest and profusely apologize to Nigerians.”
