Okada Riders Beat And Burn Sound Engineer To Death Over 100 Naira Disagreement

David, a sound engineer has been lynched and set ablaze in Lagos over an irreconcilable difference between him and the operator of a commercial motorcyclist he boarded.

According to the viral twitter post, David had boarded the bike while on his way home from the club. On getting to his destination, there was a misunderstanding between him and the bike man over a hundred naira balance.

The disagreement degenerated into a scuffle and more motorcyclist joined in the fight and reportedly beat David till he became unconscious. The incident was said to have happened at Lekki Phase 1.

A video of the incident posted on Twitter shows David lying on the floor with a tire burning on his body. His attackers then pour fuel on the fire, causing it to increase.
