Some gunmen suspected to be enforcers of Independent People of Biafra (IPOB)’s sit-at-home order, have burnt some vehicles along Anwai-Illah road in Ogbolu, Oshimili North Local government area of Delta State as police have cordoned off the area and raised alertness level.
Though no loss of lives was reported, two Dangote trucks, one keke and one Audi Volkswagen car were burnt in the attack.
The police command in the state through the public relations officer, Edafe Bright confirmed the attack to our correspondent but unable to say who was responsible for the attack.
Businesses around the area where the incident occurred are shut but in Asaba the capital the normal commercial and other activities are going on.
