Video: Win Kaduna For PDP, Leave Wike Alone- Gov. Wike Tells Makarfi As He Danced To “Pepper Them” Music

Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has hit hard on his critics about the lingering controversy between him and presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and other leaders of the party.

The governor while dancing to “pepper them” music at in event in his state on Tuesday, called out the former governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi to win his state for the PDP instead of giving himself unnecessary headache over his matter.

He also called on other governors and former governors of the party to deliver their states for the party in the upcoming election.

According to Wike, instead of his critics giving money to TV stations to be discussing his matter everyday, they should concentrate such efforts on how they can win election in their respective states and then know who truly owns Rivers State.

He said, “While we have been busy bringing down every structure of APC, delivering dividends of democracy, they have been busy talking about Wike. I have told them when you have a child, name the child, Wike.

“What I want to advise Makarfi is, look, you have a job, make sure the PDP wins in Kaduna State. That is your job, leave Wike alone.

“That is what I have told everybody. In Kano, make sure the PDP wins. In Niger, make sure the PDP wins, in Jigawa, make sure the PDP wins. If you win, then we will see who wins here or not. It’s ‘Operation deliver your state.’ Don’t use any person’s state to add up.”

Former governor Makarfi had earlier cautioned the Rivers Governor to desist from acting as if he owned the PDP. He advised him to mend the broken wall with the former vice president and worked for his success in 2023.
