Also at the scene was a community leader, Alhaji Prince Moshood Oyeleke who condemned the act in totality. He was surprised as he said Offa is only known for healthy competition not sabotaging each other’s effort at development.

According to an eye witness, plumbers were still working on the water project as at 6:00 pm on Monday, with plan of concluding the work, enabling pupils and people of the neighbourhood access to clean water.
Obviously infuriated, Hon. Jare Olatundun called for caution alleging the hands of some desperate politicians in the act.

He said with respect to incessant name calling on radio programs by some Offa politicians, there is possibility of resorting to sabotage of works being done by serious and dedicated ones.

Hon. Jare however called on elders of Offa local government to live up to expectation by calling certain characters in the community to order. He said, “Offa is known for high level of education and decorum, why have some people decided to go against development by fighting a working Governor and washing their dirty linens outside?”
