If There’s Any Party That Monetised Votes, It Is SDP- Oyebanji Campaign Org. Reacts To Vote Buying Allegation In Ekiti

The spokesman to the winner of the just concluded governorship election in Ekiti state, Taiwo Olatunbosun has reacted to the stormy allegation of vote buying rocking the boat of APC victory in Saturday’s Election.

Olatunbosun, the Media and publicity secretary to Biodun Oyebanji campaign organization was a special guest on the Monday edition of Arise TV Morning Show where he spoke extensively on what happened during the election and its outcome.

Recall that APC candidate, Biodun Oyebanji defeated his close rivals, Segun Oni of SDP and Bisi Kolawole of PDP with a total vote of about 168,000.

Reacting to the victory, Taiwo Olatunbosun attributed the result to the acceptance of his candidature and a huge testament to the sterling performance of the current administration of Dr Kayode Fayemi.

According to him, there is no record of vote buying anywhere in the state all through the exercise. And if there is one, it is SDP candidate that involved in it.

Olatunbosun exonerated APC from engaging in any form of electoral infraction. He said they already knew that their candidate would win the election even before the election was conducted.

In his word, the level of acceptability and rousing welcome given to Oyebanji wherever he went during the campaign was enough to convince everybody that Ekiti people would massively vote for him on election day.

He explained that every political party was represented by party agent and if there was any vote buying anywhere, those party agent would have raised an alarm and drawn the attention of security people to it.

Olatunbosun explained this while appearing on Arise TV Morning Show on Monday morning.
