The Ibala road, Ilesa residence of the Immediate past chairman of Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria (PSN) Osun state, mr Adetona was besieged by unknown gunmen in the wee hours of today.
The armed men wearing Nigerian army’s camouflage uniform numbering about 8 who came in a white Hilux van left a tale of horror at the expiration of their operation which lasted about 1 hour.
Narrating his ordeal, Mr Adetona said the armed men who broke into his apartment in a commando like manner left when their leader told them he was not the target.
Among the property vandalized were a Mazda MPV car and a Toyota Corolla car while the windows of the building were squashed.
A police officer at Ayeso A’ divisional headquarters , Ilesa confirmed the incidence , noting that the state command is investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack.
It was however reported that no life was lost in the attack.
