Operation Show Your PVC: PFN Declares Sunday 26th As Prayer Day For Nigeria

Bishop Dr. Francis Wale Oke, the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has spoken of the need for Christians to be prepared to vote the right persons to rule and restore peace in the country.

The cleric, who spoke at a press conference at the PFN National Secretariat in Lagos, declared today, Sunday June 26, 2022 a prayer day for Nigeria and ‘Operation show your PVC’.

He said: “No member of the church should be allowed to worship without PVC on that Sunday. He stressed that the PFN members are more than 60 million in Nigeria across the nation and can make much difference on determining who rules Nigeria in 2023.

On why the 2023 general election is too special to the PFN, he said that Nigerians had become tired of the President who he said had become a Commander of Condolences in front of brutal killings and ethnic backed militants, but had become ready to vote for the right person who would deal with these security challenges in the country as the Commander-In-Chief.

He further said that PFN would continue to mobilise and educate all Christians on electoral matters in Nigeria and bring injustices to Christians to the leadership of the country.

Also speaking, Rev. Dr. Femi Emmanuel, DG, PFN Directorate of Politics and Governance (DPG), said the briefing was a clarion call for Christians in Nigeria to get their PVC and be ready to perform their civic responsibilities of voting in all the elections and also to contest to be voted into the leadership of our county.
