Tinubu, Atiku Will Put Nigeria Into More Trouble If Any Of Them Becomes President – Prof. Ango Abdullahi

The convener of Northern Elders Forum, Professor Ango Abdullahi has dismissed the claims that either Bola Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar will be a good president if elected as president in 2023.

Tinubu is the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress while Atiku is vying under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.

Both candidates who were mentees of winner of the 1993 presidential election, MKO Abiola have been regular actors in the Nigerian political system since the last 25 to 30 years.

They are currently the leading presidential candidates to take over from president Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.However, Professor Ango Abdullahi while speaking with Vanguard News said the two septuagenarians are not good enough for Nigeria.

According to the former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, both Tinubu and Atiku have nothing to offer Nigerians if elected as president.

He said they will further plung the country into more trouble if any of them emerges to lead the country for another four years.

He said apart from Peter Obi who is the candidate of Labour Party, there is no anyone among the rest who seems to have a solution to the Nigeria’s problems.

He noted that someone like professor Yemi Osinbajo or Musa Kwankwaso are better than Atiku and Tinubu.

Abdullahi who said he would rather tell Nigerians to brace for more trouble if either Atiku or Tinubu becomes president siad “we have not got anyone who has what it takes to fix Nigeria between the two heavyweight politicians.

Abdullahi told vanguard news on Monday.
