We Used Insecurity To Campaign Against Jonathan, 7 Years After, We Can’t Secure Nig.-APC Lawmaker

Honourable Gabriel Zock, the member representing Kachia/Kagarko at the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, has lamented bitterly the spate of insecurity in the country especially in Kaduna state.

Kaduna being one of the worse hit states with incident of killings and kidnapping has remained in the centre of discussion for terrible state of security.

Speaking on the situation of his Constituency on the Wednesday edition of Channels TV Sunrise Daily, Gabriel Zock who is representing his people at the National Assembly said activities of bandits have become unbearable in the area.

He explained that his people are killed almost on daily basis. According to him, just a few days ago, bandits invaded the Kachia local government area of the state and opened fire on people. They just killed and left without taking anything with them.

He said how can one explain that? Before now, they kidnapped to make money and failure of people to pay ransom, they will kill their hostages. But recently, it is a different scenario. They simply killed and moved on.

The APC Chieftain noted that it was this reason of insecurity that made his party campaign against former president Goodluck Jonathan in 2015. Jonathan was consequently voted out of power.

But seven years down the line, APC cannot secure the country.

As a matter of fact, the APC Lawmaker lamented that the situation has gone worse since the commencement of president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

He however called on the president to do something to secure the country so as not to lose the confidence people repose in him.

Gabriel Zock stated this on Wednesday edition of Channels TV Sunrise Daily.
