Gov. Dapo Abiodun Hints On What He Discussed With Tinubu After Sharing Photo Of Meeting In Paris
Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun has hinted on what he discussed with the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.
Tinubu reportedly jetted to Paris, France about three days ago after weeks of political activities in Nigeria.
Despite being out of Nigeria, he remains a dominant topic of discussion in the media over the controversies surrounding his choice of running mate and the possibility of picking a Muslim politician from the North.
Writing on his verified Twitter handle on Monday evening, the ogun state governor shared the picture he took with Tinubu and disclosed the nature of conversation he had with him.
Abiodun revealed that he spent quality time with their party leader and presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. He also said that their discussion bothered on party affairs and national issues.
Abiodun visit was coming a few weeks after Tinubu went to Abeokuta prior to the APC presidential primary to consult with Delegates in the state. Tinubu at the meeting hit hard on the governor saying he (Abiodun) would not have been governor if not for his efforts.
The statement which went viral created an impression about a sour relationship between the two politicians. However, this visit by Dapo Abiodun has now confirmed that the two APC Leaders and Chieftains are on the same page politically.
