Kwakwansiya Movement Has Been In Force For 32 Years, Peter Obi Started His Movement Just 2 Months Ago – Galadima

Elderstatesman and Chieftain of New Nigerian People’s Party, Alhaji Buba Galadima has chided the supporters of Labour Party Presidential candidate, Dr Peter Obi for asking Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso to be Obi’s running mate.

Galadima, while featuring on the Monday edition of Arise TV Morning Show, spoke extensively on the argument surrounding the suggestion that Musa Kwakwanso should be a running mate to Peter Obi.

The former PDP Chieftain said those who are peddling such a suggestion are not really politicians. He said looking at the Calibre of Kwakwanso and his political pedigrees over the years, it is surprising that anyone could suggest that he should deputize Peter Obi who just started his political careers a few years ago.

While admitting the fact that Peter Obi had been a two time governor of Anambra State, Galadima reminded Nigerians that Kwakwansiya Movement has been in force for over 32 years while Peter Obi’s movement just started two months ago.

He noted that the whole essence of Kwakwansiya Movement is to make Musa Kwakwanso a president. It is therefore ridiculous for anyone to advise Kwankwaso to step down and be a running mate to Peter Obi at this time when the vision is about to be realized.

According to him, Kwakwanso is more experienced and educated. He described him as the most educated presidential candidate currently vying for the number one job.

Galadima further explained that Igbo people are already seeing Peter Obi as an opportunity to produce the next Nigerian president. If they miss this opportunity, they may never regain it in many years to come.

Hence, they will never agree to the arrangement of Peter Obi stepping down for Kwankwaso to be president. Galadima stated that the two candidates should be allowed to test their popularity in 2023.

He made the statement while appearing as a guest on the Monday edition of Arise TV Morning Show.
