NLC to commence nationwide protest on Wednesday over minimum wage implementation

The Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) alongside other affiliate associations has given notice to start a nationwide protest over what it perceived as a plot by members of the National Assembly to transfer the minimum wage from the Exclusive List to the Concurrent List.

The protest is to start on Wednesday 10 March.

In a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, the Congress informed its members and the general public that mobilization for the protest will commence from the Unity Fountain, Abuja at 7:30 am with the procession moving to the National Assembly complex to register its grievances with the Lawmakers.
