Fear Not, Muslim-Muslim Ticket Is The Work Of God, Not Our Doing- APC Nat’l Chair Tells Christians 

Following the deafening controversies orchestrated by the decision of APC presidential candidate to settle for same faith ticket ahead of 2023 general election, the chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu has allayed the fear of Christians across the country.

The former governor of Nasarawa State asked the christian faithfuls not to entertain fear in the choice of Kashim Shettima, the former governor of Borno state who was chosen by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his running mate.

Adamu who disclosed this to Journalists during his visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday in his home town, Daura, Katsina State said former Governor Shettima is a Nigerian who has the qualities of a good leader. 

The APC National Chairman has visited the president to brief him on what happened during the party’s mega rally that took place on Tuesday in Osun state.

Speaking to pressmen in Daura, Adamu said Muslim Muslim ticket was not the party’s initial arrangement but God decided to work it out in the course of their wide consultation.

He explained that all necessary stakeholders were carried along before the choice was made. It is the work of God and not that of anybody within the party.

He therefore told christians in Nigeria not to entertain any fear over the decision.

Kashim Shettima was unveiled on Sunday by the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
