Forget Studies, Congratulate Your Successor- Davido Replies Oyetola Over Comment On Adeleke’s Victory

Super star singer and Nephew to the Governor-elect of Osun state, Davido has replied Governor Gboyega Oyetola over his statement on the victory of Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Osun gubernatorial election.

Oyetola in his reaction had said that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is still studying the outcome of the governorship election.

The Osun Governor in a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan on Sunday said the APC would react after appraising the outcome of the election.

Oyetola called on his supporters in the state to remain calm and go about their businesses without hindrance.

He also called on security operatives in the state to ensure the maintenance of law and order.

Reacting to the statement, Davido via his micro-blogging platform, Twitter urged the sitting governor to congratulate his successor and do nothing else.

He wrote; ”What you should be doing is calling to congratulate your successor.. Forget studies”
