What Bandits Did To My Pregnant Wife Shows They Have Human Feelings- Kidnapped Victims Shares Wonderful Experience In Bandits Den

Victims of Abuja-Kaduna Train attack who were released recently have begun to recount their ordeal one after the other.

One of them who spoke to vanguard News which was published on Saturday narrated how the terrorists were so nice to them and described the news of them being beaten and maltreated as unfounded rumour.

He noted that most of the news he read on social media since he arrived were all fake, saying the social media reports have given his mother high blood pressure.

According to the victim, from the day they were kidnapped and taken to the forest, the bandits made it clear to them that they have no issue against them but rather, the government.

He explained that they were well taken care of by the bandits. For the period of 100 days spent in the forest, the Bandits killed six cows to feed them and they fed them very well. 

He dispelled the rumour that the bandits shot some of them in the leg. He said what happened that day was an accidental discharge by a son of one of the terrorists who was fiddling with his father’s gun.

And when it happened, the terrorists were very worried about the incident and they were full of apologies. The affected person whose stomache was brushed by the bullet was quickly taken care of by the terrorists.

He disclosed that what the bandits did to his pregnant wife shows that they truly have human feelings contrary to what people are saying about them.

Realizing how heavily pregnant his wife was, the terrorists had to let her go without demanding for a penny as ransom. 

Presently, there are about 44 victims in their camp among who is an 85-year old woman and some children. 

He however appealed to the government to do the needful so that the remaining victims can be released. But he added that all through his staying period in the Bandits Forest, they were well taken of by their abductors.
