I Came To Big Brother House Because I Need Money To Study Nursing In America- Amaka

One of the season 7 housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija, Amaka has revealed the main reason she is participating in the reality show.

Amaka who had her first diary session with Biggy on Tuesday evening did not mince word when she was asked the reason she came for the show.

Speaking with Big Brother at the diary room, she said she decided to apply for the programme when she had no money to pursue her Nursing Study in the United States of America and she has no one to assist her.

She told Big brother that she was given an admission but there is no money to pay for school fees and process her visa to travel to the country. She explained that she was not ready to do the unthinkable in order to raise the money.

She stated that when she applied for the show, she waited for several weeks and there was no response. She wept bitterly thinking she did not make the shortlisted candidates for the season 7 edition.

But when she eventually got the email from the organizers, she was filled with happiness. 

Asked how she has been coping with her new found life in the house and her housemates, Amaka said she has no option than to carry on with the trend. As far as she is concerned, all that matters to her is the money and she will not lose focus in her quest to winning the 100 million naira grand prize.

She revealed that many of her colleagues in the house used to call her “Amaka for the money” because they are aware that she is desperate to win the money.

She however maintained that she will not do anything stupid in her desperation to win the money. According to her, Big brother game is not about messing around with guys. It is about putting your brain into work and have the content you can deliver.

She explained that she is bringing all that into the house and she is sure those things are enough for her to win the money.
