Senator Dino Melaye has denounced rumour going round that he has stepped down from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) oncoming gubernatorial primary election in Kogi state.
The Senator, currently representing Kogi West senatorial district who despite losing his senatorial seat at the recent judgement of the tribunal, is also in the race for the governorship ticket on the platform of his party, PDP.
Dino, few moments ago in a video on his twitter handle and sighted by RovingNaija.com, said his supporters should be steadfast and ignore any rumour of him stepping down, boasting that he is sure of victory in the primaries:
“This is a rumour by evil doers saying Dino Melaye steps down, I did not step down, I cannot step down, we are coasting to victory here, Dino must go one love.”
