PHOTOS: Popular TV Presenter Publicly Engages In Altercation With Police, Threatens To Call The Governor

It was a fierce battle and ferocious verbal assault between Arise News Morning Show Presenter, Rufai Oseni and some mobile police officers in Lagos on Monday.

In a trending video shared by the Punch, the ace Broadcaster was seen charging and threatening the officers who were in their vehicle along the road.

Earlier on Monday morning, Rufai was said to have opened up during the live Show he co-anchors with Reuben Abati and Tundun Abiola on how he was questioned by the police while trying to drive though the service lane popularly referred to as BRT Lane.

However, in the new video which surfaced on internet on Tuesday, Rufai was seen insult the police Officers.

After the major altercations between the two parties, the Arise News presenter initially went to his car, thinking he was done and ready to zoom off. He was later seen turning back and headed straight to where the police packed and sat inside their patrol van.

Rufai marched up to them, pointed a finger at them in a threatening manner and vowed to call the governor and report them. 

Pointing finger at them, he said: “I will call the governor, nonsense.”
