NNPP Did Not Need An Alliance To Win, Efforts Of Saboteurs Made Us Lose The Election- Buba Galadima

A chieftain of the New Nigerian People’s Party, Alhaji Buba Galadima has confirmed that the party lost the presidential election because of influence of Saboteurs and fraudulent electoral process.

Galadima made the statement while on Arise TV Morning Show to discuss the newly concluded presidential election in Nigeria.

The presidential election which was conducted on Saturday February 25 had the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress as the winner.

Many Nigerians however believe that the process was marred with irregularities following the inability of INEC officers to upload the polling unit result as promised by the Chairman of the commission, Mamood Yakubu.

Speaking on the process leading to the loss of his party, Buba Galadima explained that NNPP logo was not on the ballot paper in many of the states. Even the Kano State where they won, the logo on the ballot paper was inconspicuous and could not be properly seen.

Asked if they would have won had they formed an alliance with other opposition party like Labour, the NNPP chieftain revealed that they do not really need an alliance to win the election.

He said: “NNPP is on its own, did not need an alliance to win the elections, deliberate efforts of sabotage and the fraudulent electoral process resulted in the electoral loss, which must be canceled, NNPP clearly won the presidential elections.”
