Ex-convict Jolly Nyame gifted brand new Mercedes hours after leaving Kuje prison

Ex-convict and former governor of Taraba State, Jolly Nyame, has been gifted a new mercedes benz less than 24 hours after his release from the Kuje prison.

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha and governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, presented the brand new Mercedes Benz to Nyame, who is among 159 inmates granted state pardon by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Nyame, who was imprisoned for offences ranging from misappropriation of public funds to embezzlement, regained his freedom on Monday alongside his counterpart from Plateau state.

Since regaining his freedom, his house in Maitama, Abuja, has been beehives of activities, as politicians have continued to troop in to welcome him.

It was also gathered that his house in Jalingo, the state capital is, however, not different from that of Abuja as the residence, which has been deserted since he was incarcerated, has suddenly become a marketplace for political discussion.
