Adeniyi Jose, the jealous husband who killed his wife and took poisonous substance has died in Suleja hospital, Niger State.
Jose who hailed from Akure, Ondo State, strangled his wife-of-eight years, Chidinma Gloria Ibeh, from Imo state, with a rope and also suffocated her with a pillow.
After successfully killing his wife, the husband allegedly consumed a posionous substance said to be sniper.
He was rushed to Suleja General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
According to a source close to the couple, Mr Adeniyi Jose’s suspicion that his wife was unfaithful had no basis.
“Gloria never cheated on her husband. People should stop saying what they don’t know,” the source told LIB.
They added that Mr Adeniyi has always been a jealous husband and picked fights with his wife whenever he saw her talking to any man.
The wife was reportedly the breadwinner of the family as Adeniyi didn’t have a job.
