No More Sit At Home In Imo, Anyone Can Come On Monday To Confirm- Uzodinma Dares Unknown Gunmen

The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma has dared the unknown Gunmen in his state that their activities are over and anyone can now move around freely across the state.

Although, the governor agreed to the fact that the Eastern Region of the country is still troubled by the activities of the criminals and there is need to raise the security bar in order to completely neutralize them.

Uzodinma gave this assertion while appearing on the Tuesday edition of Channels TV Politics Today anchored by Seun Okinbaloye.

According to the governor, those who are labelled as unknown Gunmen are actually bandits and it is the people like Seun Okinbaloye and others that are calling them unknown gunmen. They are actually bandits in the real sense of it.

The governor explained that with the creation of Ebubeagwu security outfit, killing and Kidnapping has been drastically reduced in the state.

Asked if the regular Monday sit at home is still in place in Imo state and what he is doing as governor to bring the menace to an end, Uzodinma confirmed that there is no more Monday sit at home in his state.

He dares Seun Okinbaloye to come on Monday and visit the state. This will enable him confirm if the sit at home is still effective or not.

The governor however lamented that the terrorists are armed with sophisticated weapons that are more superior to the local vigilantes. He advised the federal government to localize policing system so that terrorists across the country can be decisively dealt with.
