PHOTOS: Nigerian Gold Medalist In Just Concluded Commonwealth Game Visits Sanwo-Olu

Odunayo Adekolurejo, the lady who competed in wrestling in the just concluded commonwealth game in Birmingham has visited the governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Adekolurejo won gold medal in the game after participating in wrestling competition.

She was among the participants from Nigeria who won gold medals in the weeklong athletic games that were organized in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Upon her arrival into Nigeria, the young lady paid a special courtesy visit to the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

During her visit, Adekolurejo presented her gold medal to the governor as a show of honour. She also thanked the Governor for his support and words of encouragement during her sojourn in the UK.

In the last few months, successful sportsmen and women have been paying visits to Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the government house to appreciate him for his support to sport development in Lagos and Nigeria at large.

A few weeks ago, Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala was in the governor’s office on a courtsey visit. Also, former Nigeria international, Obafemi Martins has visited the governor in his office.

Adekolurejo is the latest of the long list of sportsmen and women who have visited the governor.
