Peter Obi’s Arrival At Opening Ceremony Of NBA Conference Receives Rousing & Standing Ovation 

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Peter Obi has again proved himself as one politician who has what it takes to electrify the political mood in the society especially in the race for Aso Rock ahead of 2023.

This was lucidly established on Monday at Eko Hotel and Suite, Victoria Island Lagos where he graced the  opening ceremony of 2022 conference of the Nigeria Bar Association.

The legal profession is currently holding its Annual General Meeting with the theme: “Bold Transition”. The event is expected to hold from August 19 to 26. The opening ceremony of the event was held on Monday with top legal luminaries, politicians and movers and shakers of the society in attendance.

Peter Obi is one of many politicians who made his way to the venue. While others did not carry much presence or arrivals, Peter Obi arrival was a huge moment to behold.

The former governor of Anambra State practically shut down the venue with his resounding arrival that was greeted with a rousing and standing ovations at the venue.

The Labour Party presidential candidate was heavily mobbed outside the hall the moment he disembarked from his black SUV as security details struggled to prevent him from being mauled by the ecstatic crowd of supporters.

All through the moment of his arrival into the premises, activities in the main hall were put on hold as participants in the ongoing conference could not but join others to celebrate Obi’s presence at the event. They linked up with his arrival through the projector that transmitted the event from outside.

This is not the first time Peter Obi’s presence would receive a loud and rousing ovation since he began his race for 2023 Presidency.

A week ago, he was at the Holy Ghost Night of the RCCG Annual Convention in Redemption Camp. The moment he was introduced, the atmosphere became charged and rowdy. It took the anchor some minutes before she could continue the announcement after she is sure normalcy has returned.

The Monday’s attendance of MBA conference is the latest version of Obi’s popularity in the Nigeria’s political space.
