2023: Accord Party Presidential Candidate Kneels For Prayer Before Ex-President Obasanjo

Every election year, the home of the former president Olusegun Obasanjo usually experience the presence of different political gladiators who always come to seek his support and endorsement for various political offices in the country.

Ahead of 2023 presidential election, the same old story has been repeating itself with the same political activities at the premises of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The latest of the visit was that of the Accord Party presidential candidate, Professor Chris Imumolen.

The politician has visited the former Nigeria’s president with a view to getting endorsement and blessing for his arduous political journey to Aso Rock in 2023.

During the visit, Professor Imumolen was pictured kneeling down for Chief Obasanjo for prayers. And in turn, the later reportedly released his fatherly blessings on him.

In the last few weeks, various presidential candidates from different political parties have been becoming to see Obasanjo at his country home in Abeokuta for advice, endorsement and blessing ahead of 2023 general election.

Just last week, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid a visit to him in a boisterous and jamboree spectacle.

Tinubu’s visit came few weeks after the candidate of the Labour Party, Dr. Peter Obi led a delegation from his campaign team to the Ex-President in Abeokuta to seek for his prayer and endorsement.

Professor Chris of the Accord Party is the latest presidential candidate to have visited the former president in the recent time.
