Tinubu Gets Desperate On 2023 Elections: “We dare not miss this chance”

Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has vowed that he dares not miss the chance to succeed Muhammadu Buhari as president of Nigeria in 2023.

In a tweet on his verified tweeter handle, Tinubu said he may not be sure of another opportunity if he misses out on the current one.

“We are not here to do what is comfortable. We are here to do what is right for our people and our country,” the tweet reads.

“We are here to answer to a greater, higher calling. That calling is the love of Nigeria. We dare not miss this chance because we cannot be sure of another.”

The APC candidate, whose choice of running mate sparked criticisms in different quarters, has been meeting with political bigwigs to gain their support ahead of the 2023 elections.

On Tuesday, he had a meeting with Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, in France. The latter is reportedly deliberating on whether to back the APC candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
