Portable Apologizes To Davido Over Verbal Assault During Osun Governorship Election 

Habeeb Okikiola fondly known as Portable has tendered his unreserved apologies to the OBO crooner, David Adeleke following the war of words that transpired between the two hip-hop artists during the build up to the Governorship Election in Osun State.

The two popular singers had supported two opposing candidates for the election. While Davido pitched his tent with his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, Portable publicly campaigned for the incumbent governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola.

Trouble however started when Davido was said to have unfollowed portable on social media. The Zaazu crooner claimed that Davido unfollowed him because he collected 10 million naira from the APC to campaign for the governor.

The election week however witnessed verbal assaults from portable to Davido on social media while the later kept his calm and allowed his followers to do the talking on social media.

However, Portable was asked to apologize to the singer in the public irrespective of what might have happened between them.

The mediation was carried out on Tuesday by Oba Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, the Onitagbo of Tigbo- Ilu in Osun State. The monarch advised Portable to forget what might have transpired between him and Davido and apologize to him. He said Davido is his elder brother and he deserves an apology from him.

This was made known in a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday by portable.
