PHOTOS: Thousands of supporters march for Peter Obi in Ibadan
Thousands of supporters on Saturday staged a massive solidarity walk for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi in the ancient city of Ibadan.
As early as 9am, supporters, both young and old converged at the city center in Iwo Road to begin a long walk to other parts of the city.
The supporters were seen carrying banners and other signage with Obi’s pictures and various inscriptions written on them as they stage the planned ‘Ibadan One Million March for Peter Obi’.
RovingNaija can report that similar march has taken place in other Nigerian cities like Port Harcourt, Abuja, Benin, Onitsha, Owerri among others.
Obi is contesting in the 2023 presidential election against top figures like Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.
