Police Arrests Four People For Killing petrol Station Manager In Osun
Four individuals who were allegedly involved in the murder of a gas station manager in Ikire, Osun State were detained on Sunday by agents from the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, as one of the suspects, identified only as Idris, was pursued to the Ako Area of the town around 11 p.m. on Saturday before being captured by the hunters.
This was made known by a reliable source in Ikire who spoke on the condition of anonymity for security reasons, as the source further claimed that once Idris was detained, alongside 5 others that he named who were said to have taken part in the assault on Adigun, the manager of the filing station, during questioning.
Asides Idris, three of the other five persons he listed as being involved in the crime were captured by the hunters early on Sunday and immediately turned over to the police in Ikire, the source claimed.
Idris stated that the victim was hit on the head with a tool during the attack on his filling station in video footage received by newsmen when Idris was being questioned by the hunters following his arrest.
Yemisi Opalola, the spokeswoman for the Osun state Police Command, confirmed the arrest and said that additional arrests have been made and their findings will be released soon.
