How Tinubu Rubbished Buhari, APC Administration During Calabar Rally

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hit hard on the leader of his party and president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu, while delivering a speech at a presidential rally in Calabar, capital of Cross Rivers State confessed that poor governance by his party is the reason Nigeria is where it is today.

Speaking on the exchange rate, the former governor of Lagos State confirmed that what they met on ground was 200 naira to a dollar but today, it is 800 naira to a dollar.

He said: “this is because they cannot think properly, they don’t know what they are doing, they have no solution to the problem and Nigerians should not trust them.”

The APC standard bearer however promised to address the issue of exchange rate as soon as he takes over in May 29.

The comment has become a major blow to president Buhari and the APC as many Nigerians are asking Tinubu and the party to apologize to the people rather than campaigning for election.

This is not the first time Tinubu will attack president Muhammadu Buhari and the APC at campaign rally.

A few days ago, the APC National leader blast the Buhari’s government for masterminding the fuel scarcity and naira redesign which are plans to scuttle his election as president.

Tinubu made the statement during the presidential rally in Abeokuta. According to him, even if they like, let them hoard petrol and change the naira, we will still win the election.

Tinubu’s consistent criticisms of president Buhari and the APC has made many Nigerians to constantly ask if he is actually contesting for election under the ruling party or standing alone.

While his Campaign Media Director has reacted to the statement made in Abeokuta saying he was actually referring to PDP,  he is however yet to issue a statement regarding what he recently said in Calabar.
