JUST IN: PDP appoints former senate president as BoT Chairman

The Peoples Democratic Party has appointed former senate president, Adolphus Wabara, as acting Chairman, Board of Trustees of the following the resignation of Walid Jibrin.

The opposition party also named Wabara the Political Adviser of the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

Wabara, who was before now, the Secretary of the PDP BoT, would also be appointed to the presidential campaign council of the PDP.

Political campaigns for the 2023 general elections will officially begin on September 20, and parties are getting set to swing into action.

Wabara will be expected to pilot the affairs of the BoT and help the party unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress.
