Like PDP, APC releases names of campaign council members, Osinbajo missing

Few days after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced names of campaign council members, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has followed suit.

In the list released by James Faleke, secretary of APC presidential campaign council on Friday, vice president Yemi Osinbajo’s name was missing and so was the names of Yakubu Dogara, former speaker of the house of representatives, Babachir Lawal, former secretary to the government of the federation, and Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, former minister of state for education.

The reason for their non-inclusion may be connected to their disapproval of the party’s Muslim-Muslim tickets.

However, former Osun State governor and minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made the list.

Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong, retained his position as director-general, while former APC chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, and Bayo Onanuga remained deputy director-general (operations) and director of media and publicity, respectively.
