NEMA Confirms Number Of Victims Who Died & Those Rescued From The Latest Building Collapse In Lagos 

Another building has reportedly collapsed in Lagos on Friday afternoon. The development is coming less than two weeks after a 7-storey building caved-in at the Oniru Estate, Victoria Island Lagos.

The recent disaster was a three story building which was said to have occured at Oyesonuga Street, Off Oye Roundabout, Isolo Road in Mushin. 

According to the National Emergency Management Agency, people were trapped in the rubble and it took the extra efforts from the agency to successfully carry out a rescue mission at the scene.

Giving an update after the exercise, the territorial coordinator of NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed that four people were confirmed dead. Two male and two female dead body were pulled out of the rubbles.

In the same vein, Farinloye put the total number of rescued victims at three at the end of the rescue operation. The update was released by the coordinator around 7:15 pm on Friday.
