President Buhari’s Aide, Bashir Ahmad Reacts To Seun Kuti’s Arrest With Handcuffs

Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant to Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the trending picture of Seun Kuti who was arrested with handcuffs on Monday.

The Afrobeat Singer was arrested and detained following his reported assault on officer at the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos on Saturday.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Seun Kuti accused the officer of an attempt to kill him and his family who were in the same car with him.

After the order by the Inspector General of Police to arrest the son of the legendary Afrobeat singer, Seun voluntarily turned himself-in at the command on Monday morning.

He said he was ready to cooperate with the officers in their investigation.

Confirming his arrest, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin revealed that Seun will be detained and interrogated till the investigation is completed.

However reacting to his arrest with handcuffs, Bashir Ahmad said everyone will learn lessons.
