If Kidnappers Could Enter The Palace, Kidnap A Monarch, Then We Are At War -Pastor Adeboye

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to pray for their leaders and the country in general.

Daddy GO, as fondly called, made this call on Sunday during the Church Thanksgiving service for the month of October.

The clergyman who spoke on the topic: The Perfect Peace, gave an illustration of what it means to have perfect peace as individuals, families and a Nation.

While reviewing the security situation of Nigeria in comparison with other countries that have once been ravaged by war or that are currently at war, he noted that there is a serious need to pray for the country as well as the leaders.

Pastor Adeboye recalled the glorious old days when royal fathers are respectfully treated like demigods. He noted that if a monarch is coming, people will run to a far distance where they will stand to catch a glimpse of him.

He said the aura and security personnel around royal fathers in those days made it difficult for anybody to come close to them. But this days, the reverse is the case.

Pastor Adeboye revealed that this days, kidnappers have become so confident that they can enter into the palace and kidnap a royal father, take him to their den and start calling his subjects to demand for ransom before they can release him with a threat to kill him.

He noted that if Kidnappers could be bold enough to enter into the palace and abduct a monarch, then we don’t need anybody to tell us we are at war. We are really under seige.

He however believes that God will reverse the irreversible and put an end to such ugly situations in Nigeria. He therefore admonished people to pray for the leaders so as they will be able to take the right decisions.
