Hunter’s Son Shots, Kills Younger Brother While Testing The Efficacy Of Charm Against Gunshots

One Abubakar Abubabakar, has reportedly shot and killed his younger brother in Kwara state while trying to carry out an efficacy test on the Charm made against gunshots.

The victim, Yusuf Abubakar, who was 12 years before he met his untimely death was the guinea pig who was used to confirm if a charm prepared to fortify against bullets would work or fail. And by the time the test was carried out, he could not live to tell the story of what happened next.

The incident, which happened on Sunday was said to have occured at Kaiama Local government area of Kwara state.

According to the report published by Daily Trust, the elder Abubakar who carried out the test has reportedly escaped into the bush and has not been seen since then.

The police spokesperson in the state, Okasanmi Ajayi, while noting that the brothers were sons of a hunter, said, “After fortifying themselves with the protective charm, the elder son brought his father’s Dane gun and shot his younger sibling. The charm failed and Yusuf died on the spot.
