Man Who Broke Into Church And Stole Offering Worth 600k Arrested By Police In Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a young man who allegedly stole offering from an unidentified church.

The information about his arrested was made known by the command spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu on Tuesday.

According to the police image maker, the suspect has already confessed to the commison of the crime.

He noted that there were about 18 other suspects who were arrested in Ekiti state for different offences committed within the state. 

The suspect was among those arrested for terrorizing the people of the state. Some of the items recovered from him include two power generator sets, shoes, clothes and cash.

The police officer who paraded the suspects at the command headquarters in Ado Ekiti however said they will be charged for kidnapping, armed robbery, cultism, attempted murder, bulglary and conspiracy.
