The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr Peter Obi has been conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas, Texas in the United States of America.
The former governor of Anambra state made this disclosure on his verified twitter handle on Wednesday with splashes of pictures to back up his claim.
Obi, while sharing photos from the event on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, said “Today in Dallas Texas United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team. I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas.
The development has been trending on social media since he made the revelation on his social media page.
Peter Obi has remained a major force since he made known his presidential ambition to run under the platform of the labour party.
