What Seyi Told Me About His Dad When I Spoke To Him On Phone- Keyamo Gives Update On Tinubu’s Health Status
Festus Keyamo, the spokesman of Bola Tinubu Campaign Council has issued a fresh update on the current health status of the All Progressive Congress Presidential candidate in London.
Keyamo, who was on Arise TV Morning Show on Thursday spoke on varieties of issues happening in the party and what the party is currently doing to correct the public impression about its standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Since Tinubu made his conspicuous absence from the signing of Peace Accord which was held at the International Conference Center, Abuja last week, Nigerians have been asking repeatedly where is Tinubu.
Over the weekend, the former Lagos governor released a video footage from London on his social media page where he was riding a spinning bicycle to show people he is hale and hearty. He also wrote a caption that many people said he is dead or seriously sick. He confirmed that he is strong and agile to rule the country.
These however did not seem convincing to many Nigerians who believe that the APC presidential candidate does not need to ride a spinning bicycle and showcase it on social media before he can prove his health status. He is expected to be in the country and begin his campaign activities and release his manifesto to the public.
While appearing on Arise TV on Thursday, Festus Keyamo was specifically asked where is Tinubu and why is he not in the country like other presidential candidates?
Responding to the question, the Minister of Labour and Productivity said Tinubu is hale and hearty. Speaking on when last he spoke to him, Keyamo noted that he has spoken to Seyi who is Tinubu’s son this morning before coming for the interview and he asked him the situation of things with Tinubu.
According to Keyamo, the son disclosed his father (Tinubu) is doing fine, hale and hearty. He however did not specifically tell when he will return to the country.
Keyamo made this known on Arise News on Thursday.
