Vera Sidika Opts For Butt Reduction Surgery Due To Health Complications
Kenyan socialite-turned-entrepreneur, Vera Sidika set tongues wagging on Wednesday, October 5, after revealing that she had undergone surgery to reduce her big and attractive butt.
The 33-year-old revealed in an Instagram post that she was forced to go under the knife due to ‘health risks and complications.
She went ahead and shared a photo of her transformation journey which she termed as unbelievable, leaving a section of her over two million followers in shock and as usual, some were quick to point out that Vera had lost nearly half of her butt after the surgery.
The former video vixen, however, said she had come to terms with her new self and urged other women to love themselves and avoid unnecessary body transformations which may ruin their future.
“This has been the hardest phase in my life, due to health risks & complications, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it & learned to love myself regardless. Ladies; pls learn to love yourself & don’t ever let peer pressure rush u into things that will ruin you in the future,” Vera said.
“I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much. Honestly, It’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my bday this year, but here we are. Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life & never take things for granted.”
Vera thanked her family and her celebrity husband Brown Mauzo who she said has been very supportive.
“Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me. To my fans: I am still the same sweetest Vera Sidika and that hasn’t changed. I appreciate y’all love & support & pray you will walk through this journey with me,” she added.

The surgery comes a year after she revealed plans to reduce her butt saying it was too humongous for her liking and in a Question and Answer session with her Instagram fans in August last year, Vera dismissed claims that her ‘butt’ was fake.
The then heavily pregnant Vera, however, admitted that her boobs, teeth, and skin complexion were fake.
“My booty is natural. But my boobs, teeth, and skin complexion are fake. In fact, hopefully after delivery, I’d want a smaller booty. Honestly, it’s too big. I don’t like it,” Vera confessed.
