Video: Tinubu Goofs Again, Says El-Rufai Has Turned A ‘Rotten Situation To A Bad One’ In Kaduna

For the umpteenth time, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has committed a semantic somersault in public.

Tinubu, who was speaking at an event held in Kaduna State recently made a statement that created a stir not only at the venue but also across the political and social space.

The event, which was attended by chieftains of the party and top government functionaries across the country, was transmitted live on Channels TV.

While extolling the virtues of Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai who was among the dignitaries at the venue, the APC standard bearer appealed to the governor not to run away after his tenure in the name of going to pursue another degree.

Tinubu said: “I am openly begging governor El Rufai not to run away for additional Degree like PhD or others. There are educated drelics. We are not going to let you run away. Your vision, creativity and resilience in turning a ‘rotten situation to a bad one’ are necessary at this critical time and that is why we are here.”

The statement, which elicited mixed reactions at the hall, has continued to create ripples on social media as the video has gone viral. Since he publicly declared his presidential ambition earlier this year, Tinubu has consistently been dominating the news headlines for series of monumental blunders.

He had once told the youths who converged to host him at the National stadium a few months ago that they like to be tweeting on WhatsApp.

Tinubu also disclosed how he would recruit more soldiers into the Nigerian Army and feed them with Cassava and Corn in the forest.

The recent statement is the latest of his errors that has generated controversy on social media.
