Thugs Invade Atiku’s Campaign Rally With Swords And Machetes

Hoodlums on Monday reportedly attacked the venue scheduled for the Presidential rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna.

In a post via his verified Twitter handle, the former Nigerian lawmaker and a chieftain of the PDP, Sen. Shehu Sani, revealed that the Wazirin Adamawa was denied access to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna today for his campaign rally.

Sani who said hoodlums attacked the venue with swords and machetes, said the PDP candidate later got approval to use the venue after he had secured an alternative.

The former lawmaker tweeted: “Thugs just invade the Atiku Rally venue in Kaduna with swords and machetes.

It’s a fact that PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar was denied the use of Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna for his campaign rally. Deceptively and belatedly approved only when an alternative arrangement has been made.”
