PHOTOS: Major Lagos roads shut down as special athletes stage massive protest
Special athletes have shut down major roads at Surulere, Lagos to pass a message.
The athletes are protesting their exclusion from the 2022 National Sports Festival scheduled for Delta State in November.
Their protest began on Monday where they blocked only the entrance of the National Stadium in Lagos. But on Wednesday, they made a bigger move by blocking the entire expressway, causing terrible gridlock.
RovingNaija was at the scene and can report that the athletes have vowed to continue the protest until their request is granted.
