This is why the senator representing Osun West, Adelere Oriolowo, is mourning as he lost his mother, Alhaja Samiratu Abidemi Oriolowo, to the cold hand of death.
Alhaja Oriolowo died in the early hours of Wednesday, October 26, in Iwo, a statement by Niyi Husamotu, spokesperson of the lawmaker confirmed.
Husamotu said, “The Matriarch of Oriolowo’s family and the mother of Senator (Engr.) Adelere Adeyemi Oriolowo has breathed her last during the early hours of today.
“Till she breath her last, Alhaja Samiratu Abidemi Oriolowo was the “Iya Suna of Iwoland”
“She will be buried according to Islamic rites today 26th October 2022 by 4pm.”
