Video of some yet to be identified soldiers mercilessly beating an official of Lagos State Transport Management Agency has gone viral on social media.
The military men were seen pouncing on one of the LASTMA officers on Monday at the Ojota area of the state, beating him to stupor in what appears to be a reprisal attack.
Recall that last week, a video went viral showing an army officer fighting with a LASTMA official. It is unclear what led to their clash but the viral video showed the LASTMA officer hitting the soldier with his club and then both men had a fight.
In a video that has gone viral, soldiers numbering eight with makeshift masks on their faces, got hold of the LASTMA officer and beat him for several minutes. One of the irate soldiers was seen battering the officer to the ground as other LASTMA officers fled the scene.
Confirming the incident, the General Manager of LASTMA, Bolaji Oreagba, through the Director Operations, Mr. A. Peter, said
