Aisha Buhari Shares Video Of El-Rufai Accusing Elements Within Aso Rock Of Working Against Tinubu

First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari has shared the video of Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai alleging some elements close to the president to be working against the candidature of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the last few days, speculation has been rife in the public about the ruling party being heavily polarised in its move to retain power at the center come February 25. 

It was rumoured that most of the policies recenly introduced by the federal government are tatgetted towards the election.

Tinubu however seems to have confirmed the rumour following his series of verbal attacks on the president and the party at some of his campaign rallies.

During Abeokuta’s rally in Ogun state, the APC standard bearer said if they like, they should hoard the petrol and make naira to be scarce in the name of redesign, he said he would still win the election.

Also in Akwa Ibom, Tinubu accused the Buhari’s led administration of inheriting 200 naira to the dollar in 2015 but allowed it to rise to 800 naira to the dollar because they cannot think, they don’t know the way and they cannot do anything.

The attack was further corroborated by the Kaduna State governor on Wednesday while speaking on Channels TV Sunrise Daily.

“I believe that there are elements in the Villa that want us to lose the elections because they didn’t get their way.

“They had their candidate; their candidate didn’t win the primaries and I think they are still trying to get us to lose the elections and they are hiding behind the President’s desire to do what he thinks is right,” El-Rufai said.

The statement by El-Rufai has continued to go viral on social media. Also sharing it on her social media account was the first lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari.

Mrs. Aisha shared the video on Wednesday which has further given some credibility to El Rufai’s statement.
