Present Your Evidence If You Have Anything Against MC Oluomo- Nigerian Police Tells Lagos Residents

Chief Superitendent Police, Adejobi Ojemuyiwa who is the Force Public Relations Officer has told whoever has a case against the Chairman, Lagos Park Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya to come forward with their evidence.

Ojemuyiwa made this known while responding to a critic on twitter who vowed never to respect the Nigerian Police until they arrest and prosecute Akinsanya fondly known as MC Oluomo over his inciting statement.

Rovingnaija recalls that MC Oluomo in a build up to the governorship and states Houses of Assembly elections had in a viral video told Igbo residents to stay at home if they would not vote for the candidates of the All Progressive Congress in Lagos.

The Statement consequently triggered outrage from many Lagosians who called on the Police to arrest him.

Reacting to the call for MC Oluomo’s arrest and prosecution over the attack, the Force Public Relations Officer in the early hours of Tuesday morning said:

“Present your evidence if you have anything against MC Oluomo.”

The senior police officer stated this on twitter while replying the twitter user who commented on his thread about the matter.

He said: “You can take the case of attack up with MC if you have a case or evidence of attacks against him. Many people and lawyers, even the deputy gov of Lagos, have said it severally.

“He has no immunity, so if you have a case of attack against him, take it up. There is no need to pass judgment or do trail on Twitter. Very simple. Many of you just follow others to raise this issue on Twitter.”
