He Is Irreplaceable, We Are Weaker Without Him- Mendy Reacts To Mane’s Injury Crisis

If there is one big player from the soil of Africa that is being looked forward to see at the 2022 FIFA World Cup slated to commence in Qatar on Sunday, it is Sadio Mane. However, the Senegalese skipper is not going to be in action at the tournament.

His exclusion from the biggest football stage was confirmed two days ago by his doctor after a successful surgery was carried on him following the injury he sustained during his team encounter against Werden Bremen last week.

Reacting to the latest development about the star player, his National teammate, Senegal and Chelsea goalkeeper, Eduard Mendy admitted that Sadio Mane is irreplaceable.

Mendy said that the Teranga Lions of Senegal are weaker without Mane in the team.

According to Daily Post, Mendy was said to have revealed this to Wettbasis.

He said:  “When I found out about Sadio’s injury, I was shocked for a few minutes.

“He’s our best player, our leader. Without him, we might be more unpredictable from a playful point of view but still weaker. He’s simply irreplaceable. We are weaker without him”
