VIDEO: Moment Peter Obi, Lamidi Apapa & Julius Abure Arrive At A’ Court Premises

Video of the moment presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, suspended chairman, Julius Abure and embattled factional Chairman, Lamidi Apapa has hit the social media.

The trio made their entry at different times to the Court of Appeal premises to witness the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal seated at the Federal Capital Territory.

The proceedings was shifted on Wednesday to Friday due to the crisis that broke out during the hearing of Obi’s Petition over who to represent the Labour party.

Factional chairman of the party, Lamidi Apapa and the Women Leaders created a dramatic scene on Wednesday after two of them introduced themselves as authentic representative of the party as against the court rules.

The reading of Obi’s Petition was consequently put on hold as the presiding judge told the party to go and sort themselves out and return on Friday, today.

The incident led to a barrage of attacks and assault on Apapa by Labour Party supporters outside the court premises. They believe he is being sponsored by the ruling APC to truncate the recovery of Peter Obi’s mandate in Court. It however took the intervention of Police to save the factional Chairman from being lynched.

Despite that, Apapa still made his return to the court to claim the position of chairman of the Party.

Video of the moment the three party chieftains arrive the court is now trending on social media.
